  • 10 Year old gelding

Just worked a gelding I had from before my hiatus, was going to kill him but he worked 6f in 108.85 is it possible he could still race? I have read that there's a wall horses hit but its not affected by age? Could it be possible he still has some juice in those legs after standing in my stable for 7 years!? LOL

Hi Jb. I assume you worked him at 120lbs which is the yearling/2yo weight. He would be competitive if there were other 10yo's racing but the 1:08.85 is false hope if he were to race against much younger competition.
