Blinkers?

Do blinkers on all 1m+ horses hinder there performance? Ive got 1 on Raced horse already but dont want to test it on him waste of a day trying to get his meter back up.I'm not sure why i'd put blinkers on unless he ran good with it even past 11f 12f, can't remember @_@ My history shows i always had it on though....Chris

I'd be more concerned with the post position at 1 mile and the jockey instruction then the blinkers to be honest.
