I want to add one more thing , racing your horse constantly in division races isn't a good idea. This will only make your horse work harder and kill it's morale. Your better off racing in high claimers or if you think your horse is a champ horse...then stick to qualifiers.

1 for 8 to start her career , morale can be achieved through out this time as well , she went on and won 11 out of 13 that year and was horse of the year, she won the derby , and 3 finals
Placement is important. You can either wipe your morale or gain morale.
I noticed you outfitted the horse with horse shoes after her maiden score and it seem to set the horse over the top against top class foes. It was also interesting that the horse only began winning when Sutherland was at the controls. I'm not sure if that was because Sutherland is a top class jockey coupled with horse shoes or more than likely Sutherland talents best paired with the horse's front running style. Very interesting. .
May the horse be with you!

Lone thanks for the reply. I have no idea any more. Every horse i have is not competetive in the same class any more and my only winners are coming from 3 horse create only races which is padding my 10% winning ratio. I am not sure what has changed or whether in the past i have just been extremely lucky but i am not doing anything different and am miles away from where i used to be.

I might be completely wrong here, but it all tells me that EVERY horse we race has an absolutely certain niche, into which it must fit to perform to its utmost ability. If it is born a 6k claimer, it will only ever run to its best in that grade or lower, regardless of workout time or anything else. If it gets a wide trip in its class, it can still run well, but with a wide run in a stronger race it will fold up faster than a camping tent. Some are born as Open class gallopers, some will be 10k claimer and so on. Find where they fit and keep there is how it looks to me. Greeko has been trumpeting his "morale " theory for quite a while now and I have never been sure of it. The Greek sent me a PM in regards to it a while ago and now I am going back to revise it. It may well be worth giving it a lot of serious consideration. So, you have been racing your horse in Allowance races and its been failing..drop it back to a 30k claimer it go's better..confidence rises, then another 30k claimer, go's better again..confidence rises again. The a 20/30k claimer and it wins!...that's the gist of Greeko's theory, and I like it. But at the end of the day, that horse was a 20/30 Claimer since the day it was born. I don't really know, I'm still trying to work it all out..

Here are some examples of morale / heart boost ... it doesn't work on all horses. But you can find out easier if you have something than racing in the same class all the time. You will notice sometimes dropping your horse in a claimer it doesn't necessarily have to win to receive a morale boost. You can come back and race in an allowance race after you have raced in a claiming race with 3rd or 4th place finish etc. Try not to race in division allowance more than 3 consecutive times.

Sorry Greeko i know you believe in it but i have to call bullshit on this whole morale subject.
You would think that winning a champ final would be the ultimate morale booster but it seems to have had the opposite effect. She is now a mid level claimer judging by her last run. Lifeline Princess
