    Hi guys
Could someone explain handicapping. I have a horse running in the qualifiers tonight that is 2/1 favourite. Others have better form so wondering how this is worked out. Also is there any use to be made of this information as to all horses in general.
    Any info very welcome.

It was added to do contest with - The odds are just for fun . It is still being worked on to make it more like real betting ,but will only be for entertainment .

White Rabbit...I think it is tied very closely to the amount of wins a horse has. Look closely at the 7.05 at Cal today. 6F race on Dirt ....

            2/1...6...Thermocouple ...............won 2 races
            3/1...1...Thutmosis 11 ................won 2 races
            4/1...4...Hostaplex ......................won 1 race/ 3 2nd
            5/1...7... Fluffy Ecko................... won 1 race/ 1 3rd
            5/1...9...Afternote....................... won 1 race/ 0 placing
            6/1...3.. Frosted .........................won 1 race/ 2 placings
            7/1...8...I Stand Alone ................Maiden
            8/1...5...Didntgetanybetter........ .Maiden
            9/1...2...Midnite Special .............Maiden

I have seen a few occasions when the odds are not 100% calculated this way...but be very sure of one thing, The handicapping odds are very closely tied to the amount of wins a horse has. Not ability, not form, not jockey or anything else..just amount of wins. This is just my opinion, formed from close observation, and not fact. Maybe it can be confirmed by a higher power...good luck

Think this looks the most likely solution

              All the best
