  • New Breeding Contest Announced

After consulting with Lone I am setting up a breeding contest using stallions that I will provide and on the last night of the season we will have a special race called THE GLITTER GULCH GALLOP 1 Mile on the turf mixed 2 year old colts and fillies, entry fee to be determined (probably between 3000 and 5000.

Here is how it will work, I will post about a dozen stallions with breeding fees from 5000 to 10000, for each horse that is bred I will allocate 5000 credits to the starting purse of the race. Stables may breed as many horses as they like but I would prefer to limit entry into the race to one per stable unless there is not enough interest to fill a 12 horse race, if that should be the case I will open the race for multiple entries per stable. Once again for every horse that is bred 5000 credits will go to the starting purse of the race, in addition Lone has agreed to offer 3000 for every horse that is entered into the race. Assuming a full field of 12 horse with no additional breeds the starting purse would be 96,0000 credits. This race could be a nice anchor race to a breeders cup type of night as admin always sets up end of season races. I will be guaranteeing a minimum starting purse of 30000 credits up to the full value of 5000 for each horse that is bred regardless of whether the horse is entered into the race or not.

Below is a listing of available sires with corresponding breeder's fees, if you are interested just respond to this post with the stallion you would like to use and I will set up the stallion on the breeder's page for you.

OOPS I knew there was something I forgot.

Since the majority of stakes races are on the dirt let's make this TURF, 1 MILE 2 yo old mixed colts and fillies.

          Cool...

I will likely try a breed with 1 each of
ECKO'S BOY, HEY GOOD LOOKING (CREATE)

If decent enough I will throw 1 in race.

btw, any additional entry fee for the race?

As you can see I put this thing together rather quickly and forgot a few of the detaiks, lol. I would like to make the entry fee as reasonable as possible in order to allow the smaller stables on a budget to get involved if they felt so inclined so I would say either 3000, 4000, or 5000 credits to enter the race,we could probably leave that up to the trainers who enter the race.

Chrisnan, I will put both stallions on the breeders page for you, same for you Pat.

Orb, just let me know when you are ready, I will reserve a breed for you.

Thanks for showing an interest in this race, with the 4 breeds already spoken for that is 20,000 credits already added to the purse.

IF YOU GUYS THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE I MAY HAVE FORGOTTEN PLEASE POST IT HERE AND I'LL GET IT SQUARED AWAY FOR YOU.

                THANKS AGAIN FOR THE SUPPORT.
