max gate

Guess I haven't paid much attention lately but I thought we had max gate of 8 for some sprint distances. Tomorrow Q races I am the lucky man with 3 eleven holes going 5f. I look at the great 1k claimers and that race split 10 horses into 2 races. So why do we split races when the entry fee is 750 and have 11 holes when the entry fee is 10k? Just curious.

We only did the lower entry races because those are effected less in regards to purse money . The higher entry will pay more with full fields .They are also based on points and the finals are 12 max gate . Sorry for your run of 11 post .Good Luck

That makes very little since to me but what do I know. Would rather waste a 750 entry fee on hole 11 than 10k entry fee with points involved on a hole 11. But as usual I dont agree with your logic on this one.
