In your TC series, I don't see the need for 5f and 6f races for the Preakness. These horses would clearly be sprinters and probly couldn't handle the Mile anyway. Plus it makes almost impossible to qualify for all 3 TC races since horses who can go 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 wont fare well in these sprints.
Perhaps the way to do it is to have the lead in races be for the entire Triple Crown instead of each individual race.

For example, my horse Final Farewell won the entry race to the Preakness which was 5f. There is no possible way this horse can get a mile, but my top TC contenders cant compete in these sprint distances, which makes it impossible to qualify for all three TC races. It just seems that we want the series to be attainable to the real TC contenders. Thoughts?
