Going by works along not races i can say roughly there's a .50 second range of jocks. A horse working at 6F 1.09.35 with the best jocks can work as slow as 1.09.85 with some of the worst jocks. Good news is there are a ton that will workt he same horse at sub 1.09.45. More than 12 so if you do your homework you shoudl always have an acceptable jock to use no matter the race. Factor in the other stuff that lone referred too. surface, track distance etc there are hidden jewels which I assume we'll have more access to now with the expanded jockey stats.
