  • new on here.

hello to everyone, came back recently and all my horses are now 8/9 year olds. All were picked up cheaply at auction and I haven't a clue if I can race them, what races I should aim at or just getsome new stock.Been on SOK but getting bored this seems far more interesting. If anyone could give me advice I would be grateful.Feel free to look at my stable. I am in England and was wondering are there many other british based pplayers on here.

    Hi Dean,
    Welcome back.

Tough to give much advice about the older horses since very few run any that old. If they havent reached their 10 race threshold for breeding then you would probably be safe entering them in low level claimers. That should give you an idea on whether or not they can compete. As always there's the risk of losing them but as I said I doubt anyone would claim them if they arent close to 10 races. Good luck and welcome back again.

Hey Top Stud, Welcome back. Your 8 and 9 year old's will be carrying the max weight if you try to race them. i would go through them in a train with weight and see how they do if you have any that are close to the 10 race number to retire for breeders. other then that, you might want to spend the money to create new ones. Im new myself so this is just my opinion, but Im sure others will help. Good luck buddy. WCR

Do you know where Braceby is in Lincolnshire? Where my ancestors lived before coming to Massachusetts around 1610. From what I read there's still some Taulbees or Talbys still in that area.
