So I'm sitting in the dark at my dad's new place. Nothing but my phone and a hard ass plastic chair because they haven't moved much furniture yet.
Dad fell last week and dislocated his hip so he can't be left alone right now. Two hours ago I get a call from my brothers girlfriend saying she has him at the ER thinking he is having a stroke and no one is at home with dad. So I drive hour and half in a monsoon to get here and nothing to do but sit in the dark.... rambling. I killed five minutes by posting this though.

Thanks all. was a rough night. If for nothing else having to sit in silence for that long so dad could sleep. I guess when you arent used to it...anyway brother didnt have stroke some sort of pressure on a nerve in his neck giving him the symptoms though.has appt with neurologist later this week. I'm back home and got some rest so things are a bit better
