I'm assuming that come saturday if there are still openings we can open it up for anyone to enter that wants to but these horses get first choice.

Following his work the other day in prep for the Belmont All In Shove came up a little lame (lame meters that is) so he is going to be pulled from the Belmont. Power Cat also will not run since I don't believe he wants to go that far so the spot is open for someone else on the list to fill if they want it Brian.

Looks like the race will run with 6 unless anyone else with points wants to come forward before the race closes tonight.

My first thought was to open the race up to any 3 yo that wanted to run but I'm not quite sure that is fair to those that ran in the qualifiers and earned their spot to have to race against other horses. You are welcome to nominate a horse if you like that doesnt have points by posting here and we'll see what Lone has to say but right now I would say no even though it would mean a fuller field.

Best of luck to the 6 contestants. No doubt TnT is the clear favorite, as nearly 2/3 of the prize money has well-deservedly gone to the top-end brass of his stable.

Fun Fact of the Day - more than half the Stakes wins has gone to the top 4 stables, (97 stakes wins) than the rest of the entire community (96) so they really set the bar high this season........and the duel for WINS is one thing, but the race for earnings has some interesting twists.....Chrisman has made the most of his wins, and has a VERY Good stakes record as the 4th and final "Top 4 Stable in earnings".

Good luck all.....No offense TnT, you know I respect the HELL out of your classiness and skill.....But I want the top earnings guy to "Go Down today" by one of the up and comers! If you win, and you manage to pull off the wins Title Eddie, I would consider this your most impressive season since I have been here....Pressure coming at you in ALL directions!
