Is Santos for real?

DIGITAL DOWNS, December 16, 2006----Is it a streak of good luck or super intelligence that has pushed Jockey C. Santos to a winning percentage of over 30% since the new jockey intelligence features went into effect on Wednesday?. Santos has won 13 our of 43 races that he has participated in. and placed or showed in 14 more, putting him in the money well over 60% of the time. Couple these numbers with setting two track records on Saturday night and its no wonder that trainers will be scrambling to get Santos to mount their horses in the upcoming days. Santos was unavailable for comment as he had flown late last night to a upper level MENSA meeting in Switzerland but vowed to return refreshed for tonight's races. When asked to comment on Santos' recent accomplishments, J. Krutz a 3 time jockey of the year and current season money leader simply said, "Duhhhhhh. I like to ride horsies."

DIGITAL DOWNS, November, 29, 2006 --- Yealing season is now in full swing, but one DD jockey is looking forward to New Year's. Not for a night of binge drinking or a trip to New York City to see the apple drop, but for some much needed rest.

TTDN - Seeing I am back after a 4 day absence since the 25th from the Internet/computer, I decided to scroll through the forums along with Mrs. TAR to see what sort of activity has been going on in the forums. Well, there has been a fair amount of activity going on, but, one write-up especially caught my eye. Oh…… so what is it now?

TAR The forum write up by "Getting Lucky Lodge", "We Want Hudson", seemed to be appealing. Read this Mrs. TAR, look at her performance records.
Mrs. TAR You call that write up Appealing? Give your head a shake. Now you are going to tell me that you are also hooked on that young gorgeous 18 year old jockey just out of training school by the name of Hudson S?TAR Why….. not?
Mrs. TAR I don’t believe that you can talk like that, especially when I am sitting next to you, you are looking for a good smack aren’t you?

TAR Well no, look at her riding record thus far, it sure looks good.

Mrs. TAR Ha haw.. Men, Ohhhh... you’s are all a like, a one track mind.

TAR What you mean we are all alike with a one track mind? It’s either a dirt track, or, a turf track for racing.

Mrs. TAR I know what you are thinking, I have been around you long enough to know the difference.

TAR Well…. Mrs. TAR, I am talking about racing here, jockeys/female/riding horse(s) down the distance of the track, whether it is dirt/turf as I already mentioned.

Mrs. TAR Ohhhhhh……… the minute a young gorgeous female jockey comes along, it appears that for some reason the male is suddenly head over heels over her. Why?

TAR I am not head over heels over her, because it is not what you may be thinking.

Mrs. TAR Ya right, the male hormones at work again. If you were to think about proper placements for your horses with the proper jockey and not about Hudson S, maybe, just maybe... you would win a race or two.

TAR Doesn’t age come before beauty, or, is it vise versa, hmmm…, maybe it is a combination of both here, plus her talent.

Mrs. TAR Her talent? Now you are really starting to get me peeved off.

TAR Well…. well…. I am trying to write an editorial here, not visualize about some young gorgeous female jockey out of training.

Mrs. TAR Ha haw… leave me out of it now and get your editorial done and get to bed… Look at the time. Good night.
TAR Good night Mrs. TAR, it shouldn’t take me to long to type out the editorial. I hope.

Hudson S, a young female rookie jockey recently arriving from the training center & riding only for a brief time & having to take a rescheduled medical. The rescheduled medical was only for a few days before returning to D/D racetrack. Doctors said, "They put Hudson S on the rush list for her rescheduled medical exam so she could return to jockey duty".

With Hudson S being gone for only a few days, her departure did not go unnoticed by some stable members. With the requests of some stable members wanting her back asap, (as soon as possible) members wishes were granted due to a successful/memorable examination. Hudson S returned to the D/D racetrack in good spirit, and is continuing to perform her duty.

As a young rookie jockey, her stats records already indicate that she is a lady with a will to ride. She is already noted for giving it her best shot at the track, and is determined to see her mount(s) cross the finish line first, therefore, content members. One would have to say that she is certainly in/on the spotlight in relationship of her amazing achievements at the track thus far.

Current Meetings Standing – Races Won as of 29/06 indicate that the young rookie jockey is in top position for S5. 93/22 @ 23.66% Wins. 1ST -3RD @ 58.06%.

Hudson has rode horses on different types of ground/distance with her best being on 6F-D, 1M-T, 1M-D. She also has win/place/show/fourth in other distances/dirt/turf. Is she actually hot, or, is it the weight difference that over rules her popularity of win/place/show. Regardless, once she is required to carry the full weight required for each particular class as other jockeys already are, then, the true reflection of her potential will become reality. As for now, her popularity should continue in accordance to her immediate permissible weight allowances. As for now, one can only hope/believe that throughout the remainder of S5 & onward, her character will continue to be one of abundant production. After all, she is the youngest & most recent lady registered at D/D "Jockey Room", with a possibility of such a dilemma creating enough intuition among stable members causing her to be the most sought after jockey, and a rookie jockey none the least. Okay, I got to quietly sneak into bed now, shhhhhhh............
