Public Service Announcement
As new members trickle into Digital Downs, we feel it is pertinent for these trainers to drop by the  Racing Forums. It certainly can be confusing when first joining Digital Downs, especially if one is limited in their knowledge of horse racing in general. But do not fear, help can be found in abundance.

TTDN Breeding horses at DD is a venture that leaves a lot to be desired for any stable member, whether a veteran player, or, a recent player. DD administration/programmers made/make it possible for horses to be bred within stables at a players own discretion. A choice/opportunity given to each & every player who has joined DD as a member paying dues for membership.
Therefore, giving members/players the opportunity to breed horses within their own stable in a free manner. That is, breeding in a free manner as one chooses, and not breeding in a free breeding spree in relationship to money. As the saying go’s, “Nothing for Nothing”.

Q.   What levels should a horse's meters be for it to be able to race competitively?

A.   As a general rule, most horses will run close to their best if all meters are 95% or more. In Sprints (5F-7F), I like to make sure the FIT and SPD meters are at 100% with STM/END/STR at 95 or more. In longer races (8F+), I ensure FIT/SPD are 100% with STR/END in the  98-100% range for best results. STM aids recovery after hard runs, it does not appear to aid in the racing performance of a horse.
