There is much to like about this horse starting with the horse rating of 109.00, ratings don't get much higher. Has won 2 stakes races including one at this distance where he took a 2 length lead to the turn and was never challenged. I might add he was coming out of gate 1. He could easily take the lead and not look back in this race. A major player.

Lightly raced filly has found it difficult to compete since stepping up to Graded stakes racing. The post position might help her chances but I need to see more before I can recommend. Must pass tonight.

Hard to find fault with this horse, she has proven to be a beast, multiple stakes winner including the Eliminator where she won every heat. Distance does not appear to be a problem as she has shown she can run all day. She, in my eyes, is the horse to beat in this race.

Winner of 2 stakes races her races over the route distances have been a mixed bag. I feel she is more of a classic horse and the distance might do her in tonight. She has ability, just not sure she has the same abiltiy as some of the others in here. Longshot at best.

This horse has not had good success when trying Graded racing and I suspect tonight will be no different. Has had better success at the classic distances and I really don't see her competing with these.

Been in the money 5 of 7 lifetime including 1 stakes win. Trying this distance for the first time and I anticipate he will be on or near the lead going into the first turn. This distance can humble a lot of horses and I am not sure he has the stamina to stretch out this far, only time will tell.

Distance should be no probelm and I expect she will be forwardly placed in this race, if she can get position the race could set up for her nicely, definitely a factor tonight.

This gelding seems to feel right at home at this distance and while all of his wins have come in the claiming ranks he cannot be ignored here as he did have a nice run in the BC Shoemaker G2 at 1 3/8 miles. While not as classy as some of the others he does figure here and I anticipate he will get a part of this purse.
9. STEEL GLOBE(C) (DD-Iron Fist/DD-Global Trot) Life 21 5 5 4 576960 Horse Rating 107.50 Speed Rating109.81
He has won over 500,000 and loves the distance. He can either stalk the leaders or close from behind so it depends a lot about instruction tonight. Has had great success over the distance and if he can get positionshould be charging hard coming home. Rates a chance here.
