In the near future, State bred abbreviations will be assigned to all active and retired horses. There will be 5 states initially.
State Bred Classifications
KY - Rank 1
NY - Rank 2
CA - Rank 3
FL - Rank 4
PA - Rank 5
We are working on a way to allow members to "one time only" determine the state-bred classification for all existing horses. All horses after that point will be assigned a state-bred classification during the breeding process. More details to follow on this topic. State Bred bonuses and race purse value may vary depending on the state rank.
Farms
Kentucky
Pennsylvania
Florida
New york
California
We are working on establishing base farms for your state-bred classified breeders. Horses must be at the same farm to breed. Sires and Mares will be able to transfer between farms. More details on this to follow.
State Bred Breeding Fees
We are working on establishing new tier-based breeding fee structure based on the state bred classification. As of now all breeding fees are $7 per unit. In the future you may see something similar to this example PA Bred $4 FL Bred $5 NY Bred $8 etc etc. More details to follow.
State Bred Bonus Racing
In an open class race at any track, horses with the state bred classification running in their home state will receive % bonus
State Bred Restricted Races
State bred ONLY races for horses that have the State Bred classification. More lucrative purses on average per that State Bred track. More details to follow.
State Bred Breeder Bonus
Kickback bonus to the breeding stable of horses that run in state bred restricted races. You do not need to own the horse...just be the listed breeder of the horse. More details to follow.
This is in the early stages of development and a much needed way to help take advantage of our unique breeding platform. Further research is required to set up what determines the stae bred classification of newly born horses. We will try to follow the real life industry standard as close as possible. We anticipate a full roll out by the new season.
Reminder....this is just a general layout subject to change.
