  • NEW - State Bred Identification Coming Soon

In the near future, State bred abbreviations will be assigned to all active and retired horses. There will be 5 states initially.

    State Bred Classifications
    KY - Rank 1
    NY - Rank 2
    CA - Rank 3
    FL - Rank 4
    PA - Rank 5

We are working on a way to allow members to "one time only" determine the state-bred classification for all existing horses. All horses after that point will be assigned a state-bred classification during the breeding process. More details to follow on this topic. State Bred bonuses and race purse value may vary depending on the state rank.

    Farms
    Kentucky
    Pennsylvania
    Florida
    New york
    California

We are working on establishing base farms for your state-bred classified breeders. Horses must be at the same farm to breed. Sires and Mares will be able to transfer between farms. More details on this to follow.

    State Bred Breeding Fees
We are working on establishing new tier-based breeding fee structure based on the state bred classification. As of now all breeding fees are $7 per unit. In the future you may see something similar to this example PA Bred $4 FL Bred $5 NY Bred $8 etc etc. More details to follow.

    State Bred Bonus Racing
In an open class race at any track, horses with the state bred classification running in their home state will receive % bonus

    State Bred Restricted Races
State bred ONLY races for horses that have the State Bred classification. More lucrative purses on average per that State Bred track. More details to follow.

    State Bred Breeder Bonus
Kickback bonus to the breeding stable of horses that run in state bred restricted races. You do not need to own the horse...just be the listed breeder of the horse. More details to follow.

This is in the early stages of development and a much needed way to help take advantage of our unique breeding platform. Further research is required to set up what determines the stae bred classification of newly born horses. We will try to follow the real life industry standard as close as possible. We anticipate a full roll out by the new season.

Reminder....this is just a general layout subject to change.

          Update

We have finished most of the foundational work for the state bred platform. State Bredn ID's are complete, State Farms are complete, state breeding is complete and State Bred restricted race programming is complete. We are now in phase 2 or the build. Phase 2 has more to do with state bred bonuses, state bred breeder bonuses and farm transfer.

At this time you are able to assign a state bred ID to all of your horses. You may choose to wait until i roll the complete program out before assigning the horses. Breeders can be found in the "ALL" selection until the programming is complete to search breeders separately. You can not change your State Bred ID once it is assigned

Remember - no matter the State bred ID assigned to any horse, all horses can run all tracks. Occasionally there may be a STATE BRED ONLY race that is restricted to horses from that state.

          In General

Breeding fees will no longer be one size fits all. Instead of a $7 fee across the board, breeding at a certain state bred farm may be cheaper and the opposite for another farm or state bred

New York Track - highest expected race purses
Santa Anita (once turf is added soon) will be second highest or prestige
          Florida - Gulfstream next
          Pennsylvania - Parx last
          ------------------
State Bred bonuses are pretty much the opposite
Expect Parx and GP to have better STATE Bred race bonuses
Expect Kentucky to have the best new (breeder bonuses)
Kentucky breeder bonuses are still in the development stage
Santa Anita turf is on the way
Churchill is our next goal for track addition
          -------------------
I will post a main rollout of insight on the forum but to give you a heads up on the race schedule that is in the works we are looking at 4 tracks plus special events at Churchill.

The daily race schedule will down from 80 to 48 races. 12 races per track
Races at each track will not match either entry fees or set up

From high to lowest entry fees expect the following

          Belmont
          Santa Anita
          Gulfstream
          Parx
Churchhill when finished will be upper-tier entry fees

More to follow...just keeping everyone up to date.
