This gelding is a winning machine winning just under 50% of his starts and in the money 29 out of 33 races, but most of those races are longer then he faces tonight. I don't think he is fast enough out of the gate to take the lead against these and therefor I can't pick him to win, there just is not enough time for him to make up any lost ground in this race. If the race were longer he would be my choice but tonight I will look elsewhere for the winner.

He has shown some speed but mostly in longer races. He has won once at this distance but that was with a finishing time of 43.36. I anticipate the pace will be much faster tonight and I do not feel he will be there at the wire

He is a former track record holder and appears to be in excellent form winning 4 of 5 races this meet. The only loss came at 5f from a difficult starting position. His last race was very impressive as he won by 2 lengths at 4f which is not easy to do. In my mind he is the horse to beat tonight.

If the race were longer I would like his chances better. I do not see him outrunning these horse for the first 2f and there is just not enough time for him to close out the speed in this race. I must pass.

He has the speed to compete early on with this field and I anticipate he will be in the mix at the wire. I feel he will need to run the race of his life to beat ENABLE DUDE because the aforementioned horse is on a roll right now, a minor award is a distinct possibility.
