The Futurity Series Meet begins November 16th and will run until the series final on December 25th, 2021
Initially there will be two sets of initial races. A maiden version and non-winners of 2 version both scoring points towards the same series final. This will allow for both winners and non winners to compete in the series.
There is no restriction as to the source of the 2yo. 2yo horses in the Futurity series just need to fit the race requirements as posted.
All Futurity series races will score points towards the November & December meet racing standings. This is in addition to the main overall Futurity Series which can be found on the race series page on the site under the Racing Office tab.
Points for meet racing are based on the position of finish in the Top 4
1st = 100
2nd = 75
3rd = 50
4th = 25
Points towards the overall series standings will be used to determine a finals race field and a consolation. The purse of the final will be created by the series race fee taken from each race run in the series. Entry fee is $6 plus the $1 series fee.
